I took property as a 1L. This guide to understanding the workings of estates helped me tremendously. It was more useful than the weeks' of lectures it took to cover the material in this book. I love the multiple choice after each chapter, it helps reinforce everything covered previously. Need help with the Rule against perpetuities? Shelley's Case? Vested or Contingent remainders? Don't worry, that is ALL in here. It takes you step by step from the very beginning. I highly recommend it to anyone who will be taking a property or estates class that covers all that kind of material.

A+ great product and was everything I expected!

Booked the class thanks to this baby. Follow the instructions and you won't have any problems with future interests and estates.

Property is all together a boring subject in law school but this book is amazing. Making the notecards and doing the activities it suggests really helps you learn the material and be prepared for class. I would highly recommend it.

Had a midterm specifically on estates in land and future interests. This book helped a ton in my preparation. We learned all of this stuff in class but this book contains pointers on how to recognize certain scenarios and does a great job explaining the infamous Rule Against Perpetuities. Would recommend for anyone in property law.

Excellent resource for my Properties class. Have found it to be very helpful. Breaks down the information into useful bits that are must easier to understand.

Pretty good book. Helps you comprehend the concepts a lot quicker than just reading the text book that should go with this.

This book really prepared me well for my property test.

My Thoughts:While reading a blurb on Audible.com about The Long Way Home: Chief Inspector, by Louise Penny, I suddenly realized I knew this main character! Off I went to check my library and sure enough, I had listened to this book! I don't know how long ago I listened to it but I had rated...just not written my review. But you gotta admit, that if I could remember the Inspector, the Three Pines community (and who done it) and more, it had to have been a memorable read (listen)! It was a good mystery with a very interesting cast of characters! Oh, Three Pines is really one of the characters! This is NOT a "cozy" mystery; one very well narrated by Ralph Cosham.I'm at a loss as to what more I can tell you without spoilers which I want you to be pulled along as I was!If the blur above or my excitement doesn't make you want to grab this one any any of its various formats, I don't know what else I can say other than you are missing a damn good book!P.S. For those who've not read my other views, I don't listen to abridged books...too much good gets lost! AND I adore writers who, while they write a series, make each book complete; without dangling the next one at the end; I adore Louise Penny!

Book 5: Solitude, Friendship, SocietyI skipped over The Brutal Telling, Louise Penny's fifth Chief Inspector Gamache Book, due to some readers' reviews that described it as brutal in destroying their illusions about Three Pines. I read it after the next three novels in Penny's series--but, having read it, I disagree that this book made Three Pines and its residents less attractive. From the very first novel in this series, Still Life, Penny depicted the Three Pines residents as quirky and flawed. In The Brutal Telling, their moral struggles come to the forefront. Peter struggles with what to advise Clara and Clara with whether to defend a friend if doing so means risking her dreams. Ruth's impulse to make a wild animal even tamer goes to ridiculous lengths, which she seems not to recognize in spite of her poetic insights into other characters' struggles. Characters, including the Gilberts who are new to Three Pines, are called on profitting at others' expense. Olivier's greed and lies are the central moral issues in this novel, and the tale of the Mountain King is a powerful allegory about greed and trust. At crucial points, characters reflect on what they need to be happy, which must be a major issue for Penny as she brought many of these characters to Three Pines after less happy lives elsewhere. In fact--although this is a police procedural in terms of tracking down the clues and arresting a suspect--this book could be considered a Louise Penny treatise on solitude, friendship, and society (or withdrawal from society). Three Pines is not on any map and is described in many of these mysteries as being found by only those who need it, and they often need it in order to escape the rat race or troubled relationships. In most of Penny's mysteries, we learn a backstory that explains a character's flaws (perhaps ironic for an author who has one character, Myrna, abandon her career as a psychologist as unfulfilling) and also explains why Three Pines is a refuge for that person. For her most important Three Pines characters, Three Pines is like an intentional community set apart from the outside world. Penny explores intentional community more explicitly in The Beautiful Mystery; but here, in addition to Three Pines, she has Gamache visit a remote Haida community on Queen Charlotte Islands; she describes the greed that almost destroyed that society, as well greed as a destructive force in Three Pines and for the villagers in the allegorical Mountain King tale. Thoreau's quote about three chairs from Walden, "One for solitude, two for friendship, three for society." is included five times in The Brutal Telling. Besides The Hermit, at least three other characters are described as choosing a solitary or removed existence over family and friends. Gamache says he only needs a second chair for friendship, for his wife Reine-Marie, in order to be happy; but I think he is wrong--he has a talent for society, for fitting into and appreciating each of the set-aside groups that Penny has created in her mysteries as locales for his detective skills. The only group in which he cannot fit is the corrupt upper echelon of the Surete, where "society" already has been destroyed by greed and lies. Fortunately, that looming specter is absent from this particular novel.Louise Penny not only develops characters who become real and develop from book to book, she carries their stories over from one book to later books. I do not know whether she has planned what will happen over several books; but, looking back (easier with the Kindle versions), she has usually dropped hints earlier of developments to come. As with the surprises that change the meaning of Clara's paintings, many of these hints go against what we think we know about the characters but, when understood, change our perception permanently. For example, in Still Life, four books previously, Penny describes Olivier very positively but also mentions, "The greedy antique dealer in him, which composed a larger part of his make-up than he'd ever admit..." and "beside himself with lust after Jane's home. He'd kill to see beyond her kitchen door." It is not giving away anything to state that the backstory in The Brutal Telling is Olivier's history, which accounts for his lies and secretiveness, which ultimately threaten the community. There are many lessons to be learned from this book, as well as some light-hearted moments (a duck in a raincoat?) despite the serious issues.Along the way, The Brutal Telling also arouses readers' social conscience (mistreatment of native peoples, prejudice against gays) and educates us about literature (Thoreau), art (Emily Carr), and music (Martinu). Very worthwhile.

This is the second Penny novel I read. The first one, I really enjoyed; this one not so much. Penny is a gifted writer, but in this book, she reminded me a bit of someone who gets carried away with their verbosity and forgets what they're trying to say. The book was very well written, but the mystery left me cold to say the least. And I'm not exactly sure that the motivation of the killer made a lot of sense. It reminded me of a film with great special effects (i.e., her verbiage), but a less than great script (her mystery).

What can i say? They just keep getting better and better. I can see why some people might be let down by this book but if your a realist or maybe try and think like one for a bit it may help you to understand this installment a little better. Life isn't always black and white. It's to be lived in a perpetual shade of grey. And sometimes your hand gets forced and you have to do something you don't want to do,well get over it and get it done!On top of all that is the writing. I'm finding more and more I'm seeking out authors who have that way of not just writing a good story but engaging the reader. It's not necessarily the story line that's especially "riviting" but the "fluidity" (if that's a word) of her pen that grabs me every time. Well done once again Ms. Penny.

For people who love literary fiction and mystery novels, I can't praise this series enough. I've read every book in it, and each was excellent. My favorites are Bury Your Dead (set in Quebec City) and The Beautiful Mystery (set in a monastery), but each book brings new poetry, more enlightenment, a bit of French vocabulary, all the while getting deeper into the beloved, recurring characters of "Three Pines," a fictional Canadian village that people find when they need it, and introducing new ones. It isn't necessary to read the books in order, but you'll probably enjoy the evolution of the characters even more if you do. I didn't think any mystery writer could replace Dorothy Sayers for me. I'm so glad to have found this one.

This Three Pines book was good but not great. The beginning was great --- very spooky and intriguing. But after that it seemed to stall and meander. I couldn't quite give it four stars because I got pretty lost trying to figure out the murderer's motivation. Penny certainly does like to describe what people are eating---which is fun, but at times I don't need to hear about turkey and brie sandwiches. Inspector Gamache continues to intrigue me, as do the member of his staff. I'll read more of Penny's work but am taking a short break.

#3,787 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)

Four novella with the purported theme of Second Chances. I mention “purported” because the weakest of the four (The Betrothal Ball) to my mind has zilch reference to any second chance, with the h and H unknown to one another at the beginning of the story. Not only is the romance less than credible but I hate the device of an aristocrat who invites a young woman and her family to a house party at his property, with such an obvious intent of offering marriage to her that all the guests, neighbours and servants know about it and then humiliates her without warning. Moreover, the library scene is such an overdone cliche that it is mind-numbingly boring. One star. The other three short stories don’t need to be great to be better than this. Of them, I enjoyed The Treasure Hunt best, in the main because it is the H who is at a loss, struggling to do the right thing to the young woman he believes he has wronged and who he has loved for years. Four stars. The next story, Another Dream, is also a four star effort and I must be honest and admit that this is probably because of the regular appearances of Wulfric - as well as the excruciating scene in the billiard room, which is well done. It’s also charming to have a 39 year old heroine, with laughter lines, a fine mind and warm heart, as well as a hero who is mainly described as kind and caring, who loves his children and who has the fondest of memories of his first wife. Four stars.I remember reading The Daffodil story years ago and enjoying it much more than this time, when I think that it suffers from comparison with Balogh’s other treatment of a similar theme in the short story The Anniversary. The angst is so over the top, but unpeeled too quickly at the end. It’s still a much better effort than The Betrothal Ball. Three stars.

This collection is difficult. The romance between Eleanor Thompson and Staunton was a glorious 5 star read and the best of Mary Balogh...and then there are the other stories, which grew progressively weaker, and included Kate Buchanon, Forbidden Daffodils, one of the most horridly unlikable heroines and unredeemable female characters I've ever had the misfortune to read. I'm going to give it 4 stars because Another Dream was so great and only one other (The Treasure Hunt) worth reading. Skip the last two.

I have read so many okay or awful books, but when I read a book by Mary Balogh, my body and heart sigh and settle in to what it's been waiting for. Her books are what started my love for romance stories, and no one does it better. You can feel the love and the angst and the expectations of each of her characters. You fall in love with them and for them. Though these stories are short, they are fully rounded and contain real characters that you'll love just as much as all her others. Reading her books is like coming home to an old friend. No one does it better!!

Reading older Balogh and some all over the place, style not "fixed" in some. Second chance my favorite but ties into other series and new, others just ok without much background or story before the hea ending. Gave a 50/50 plus one rating, as cannot see Balogh writing something someone will just love.

Mary Balogh is particularly good at rounding out characters, so her heroes and heroines are never perfect. Since the format of these stories is novella-length, the same can't be said of the villains, most of whom are stereotypes. But that's a minor quibble. These tales are worth reading, and at least one brought me to tears. These are also older stories, so if you're more accustomed to Balogh's books from the past decade, you may find them marginally less mature.

Mary Balogh has a wonduerful gift for storytelling! It's possible to lose oneself in these short novels but regardlessMary Balogh is a marvelous storyteller. These novels are perfect even though they are short. She draws you into people's lives. She entertains!!

4 of Mary’ s heartfelt romances I really enjoyed

Having seen the canal in person in 1978, and leaving thoroughly amazed at this masterwork in engineering, I've read various shorter accounts of the project in years since. But nothing comes close to this masterwork of scholastic research. I can't imagine a more thorough, comprehensive, end-to-end history of one of the most amazing and successful efforts mankind has ever attempted in terms of overcoming nature and geography. I knew of the previous French effort, and was also aware of the "Nicaragua" option, but to read of the intrigue, the politics, and the personalities that tried, failed, and influenced the ultimate outcome is riveting. It took the total commitment and faith of the United States Presidents (Roosevelt, Taft, and Wilson) over 14 years to do what they seldom do - make a decision, fund it, and then leave it to the hands-on experts to make the real decisions in how to get it done. That, more than anything, seems to come through as the foundation for success. Having been in the tropics, and Panama, in more modern times one can still see the rampant jungle literally a few miles from civilization. To imagine the thousands of workers toiling day after day in the wet, mud, and unbearable heat is mind boggling, yet they did it. There were parts of the book where I thought it bogged down in minutiae, reading almost as minutes of endless rounds of meetings among French and/or U.S. politicians, lobbyists, lawyers, and those in authority for building the canal "on the ground" in Panama, but in the end I have only praise for David McCullough - it wouldn't have been a complete story without all of those background details. It was a stupendous effort, and it required a stupendous effort by a gifted researcher and writer to document it, and David McCoullough has done just that. Read about one of the engineering marvels and wonders of our modern day world. You'll be glad you did.

You wouldn't think that a book detailing the creation of the Panama Canal would be an exciting and quick read. Well, you'd be wrong! I love David McCullough, I think he is flat-out the best biographer out there as well as being one hell of a history author. 1776 is my favorite book about the American revolution. The Path Between the Seas had me so interested in geology, Central American politics, jungle wildlife, topography, stuff that I would never have thought I would be interested in. It's not simply a story of the Panama Canal, it is a story of everything that multiple countries and governments went through to bring this grand project to fruition. Amazingly well-written, but I expect no less from Mr. McCullough.

What an incredible story! In many ways, this book deserves five plus stars because of the vast amount of information and research McCullough has done. But, I will just say this, it was difficult reading at times; so many names to try to keep straight. It frustrated me with all the details. Having said that, however, I want to mention that we just took a trip thru the Panama Canal and this book made me appreciate the experience so much more than I otherwise would have. From the French starting the canal, to the Americans taking over, to the inspiring completion in 1914, this book points out what an incredible engineering feat this was (and still is), done without the use of modern technology. This book is a must read for people planning to go to the canal. As you see, it took me a very long time to wade thru it; I was reading other books at the same time, but I'm glad i plowed thru to the end; it truly is astonishing what was accomplished by so many and so long ago.

What does it take to succeed when the odds are all against you? This is the engaging, detailed story of the full history of the development of the Panama Canal from the late 19 Century under the French until its opening in 1913 under the Americans. This story is vast and is a testament to man's ability to accomplish the near impossible. Over 30,000 people died during the more than two decades of the development of the Canal, mostly from pneumonia, malaria and yellow fever. The yellow fever outbreaks sometimes killed whole groups of new arrivals to the canal site with two weeks of their stepping off of the boat. This a true history of perseverance from pure guts and force of will, the faulty economics of underestimation, the conquest of terrible diseases and nature's geological and biological challenges, management of heavy equipment and an impenetrable rainforest, the political intrigue of a coup for the independence of Panama, the French failure, and Teddy Roosevelt's success from his insistence on getting it all done. Truly, this project was way beyond what anyone expected. The outcome? One of the most valuable construction projects and benefit to mankind in human history.I have received no benefit or incentives for writing this review...I just really enjoyed the read!

(Trigger warning for rape and sexual/reproductive exploitation.)The truth is, I hate short story writing. Trying to do it has taught me much more about frustration and despair than I ever wanted to know.Yet there is something seductive about writing short stories. It looks so easy. You come up with an idea, then ten, twenty, perhaps thirty pages later, you’ve got a finished story.Well, maybe.###Don’t let Butler’s apparent distaste for short stories fool you; many of the stories collected here are shiny little masterpieces in their own right.(…although I’d be lying if I said that I wouldn’t also love to see several of the stories fleshed out into full-length novels; “Bloodchild,” “Speech Sounds,” and “Amnesty,” I’m looking at you!)The second edition of BLOODVHILD AND OTHER STORIES includes seven short stories (five previously published, two brand spanking new) and two essays (both reprints). While the essays offer advice to aspiring writers as well as insights into Butler’s childhood (“Shyness is s***.” might be the realest, rawest sentence in the whole damn book), the stories are that wonderfully creepy, complex, unsettling, and ultimately deeply profound brand of SF/F that I’ve come to associate with Butler: earth-based worlds characterized by rapidly crumbling dystopias, or alien societies in which the human survivors are forced into untenable compromises with their extraterrestrial saviors/overlords. Each piece is followed by a brief (but enlightening) Afterward penned by the author herself.* Previously Published Stories *“Bloodchild” – Faced with a dying planet and crumbling society, a group of humans fled earth, only to arrive on a planet already occupied: by the Tlics, an intelligent species of giant, segmented, worm-like creatures. After much warring that proved costly to both sides, the two groups reached a tenuous peace agreement: the humans would be given a home on the Preserve, but in exchange some settlers – men, primarily – would be “adopted” by Tlic families, ultimately required to carry and birth their young in a gruesome and sometimes fatal process. Against this backdrop, a boy named Gan must come to terms with his future servitude to family friend T’Gatoi, the Tlic government official in charge of the Preserve. Inspired by botflies, Butler describes “Bloodchild” as her “pregnant man story.” (©1984; first published in Isaac Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine.)“The Evening and the Morning and the Night” – No miracle drug comes without a cost – at least not in the realm of science fiction. In “The Evening and the Morning and the Night,” the downside to curing cancer manifests in the form of Duryea-Gode Disease (DGD), a debilitating and often fatal disorder that, at best, causes its victim to “drift” – dissociate from his or her surroundings, in a sort of fugue state. At worst, it causes aggression, usually in the form of self-harming behaviors. Sufferers may gouge out their own eyes, flay themselves alive, even cannibalize their own body parts.Lynn witnessed these horrors for herself, when her parents – both afflicted with the illness – took her to a DGD institution as a sort of punishment for going off her strict diet – the only thing known to keep symptoms at bay. Like many DGD kids, Lynn’s an overachiever – trying to cram as much into her unexpectedly short life as possible – but when she visits her fiance Alan’s mother in an innovate DGD “retreat,” she finds that her special strain of hereditary DGD is a gift as well as a curse. (©1987; first published in Omni Magazine.)“Near of Kin” – In the wake of her estranged mother’s death, the MC must come to terms with her unhappy childhood – and unusual parentage. Butler describes it as as “a sympathetic story of incest” inspired by the Bible. (“This was, of course, not exactly what my mother had in mind when she encouraged me to read the Bible.”) A more contemporary, earthly tale, “Near of Kin” doesn’t quite fit with the other stories, all of which have a SF/F bent. Even so, I found it an engaging read. (©1979; first published in Chrysalis 4.)“Speech Sounds” – In a future dystopia, a mysterious and devastating illness has robbed many humans of their ability to use and even understand language – written as well as spoken. Nothing more than hairless chimps, humans have been reduced to communicating with grunts, gestures – and violence. On the way to Pasadena to search for her long-lost brother, Valerie Rye has lost everything: not just her husband and children, but her purpose in life as well teaching and writing). She connects with a mysterious stranger in an LAPD uniform – just another vestige of a forgotten past – long enough to lose him; and, in her grief and despair, discovers that her work isn’t done quite yet. (©1983; first published in Isaac Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine.)“Crossover” – A factory worker is haunted by her disfigured jailbird lover. (©1971; first published in Clarion.)* Previously Published Essays *“Birth of a Writer” – In fragments and flashbacks, Butler shares her obsession with writing and her development as a (black, female, science fiction) writer. (©1989; first published in Essence.)“Furor Scribendi” – “A Rage for Writing” offers advice to new and aspiring writers. (©1993; first published in L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume IX.)* New Stories *“Amnesty” – Twenty years ago, a group of plant-like aliens known as the Communities landed on earth via a one-way shuttle, with no way to leave or return home. They quickly established “bubbles” in dry desert lands – 37 of them worldwide – and, like scientists with lab animals, they set about studying their strange new neighbors: humans. After several waves of abductions, much suffering and death, and a brief but decisive war (we lost), humans and Communities reached an impasse. Though they heralded a global depression, the Communities are exceedingly wealthy, thanks to the resources they’re able to extract from deep within the earth’s surface. In exchange for a handsome salary, select humans are given fixed-term jobs in the bubbles, teaching the Communities about human culture and allowing themselves to be “enfolded” within their employers – a powerful drug for humans and Communities alike.Abducted as child and kept for twelve long years, Noah is one of just thirty people who are able to communicate with the Communities; in fact, she helped them develop their shared language. Now working as a Translator, it’s her job to find new recruits to work in the bubbles. But with the prevailing mistrust of and outright hostility toward these alien invaders – and, by extension, herself – Noah’s work isn’t always easy…or even pleasant. Yet communication is vital to ongoing peace, so translate she must.“The Book of Martha” – God tasks Martha Bes – a black, middle-aged writer of fantasy – with saving the human species from itself. Her answer is the only kind of utopia that Butler could imagine working: your own personal utopia that comes to you in dreams. While all the stories are both enjoyable and thought-provoking, I preferred those planted firmly in the realm of science fiction; in particular, “Bloodchild,” “The Evening and the Morning and the Night,” “Speech Sounds,” and “Amnesty.” The exploitative extraterrestrials in “Bloodchild” and “Amnesty” are reminiscent of the Oankali who populate LILITH'S BROOD (and Noah begs a comparison to the titular Lilith); and Rye, the protagonist of “Speech Sounds,” feels a distant cousin to Lauren Olamina of the PARABLES duology. This is classic Butler, alright, pared down to short story form. And it is *glorious*.A must for Butler fans; those looking to diversify their shelves; and anyone who just plain loves great scifi.

I feel it is a terrible sin of omission on my part that until now I have never read any works by Octavia Butler.I mean, sure, everyone has their gaps in their reading history, where there's an author here or there who you've always meant to get round to reading but just haven't. But Butler has been a glaring hole in my reading - until now.She freely admits in her introduction to this short story collection that novels are where her heart truly belongs, but this is a good way to delve into her writing, a gentle starter with the main course ready and waiting to follow, if you will. There are seven stories and two essays in this collection, kicking off with the award-winning title story. Bloodchild is a complex story of interdependent relationships, with humans being used as hosts to nurse the infants of an alien species, but at a cost. There are questions of what one is willing to exchange in order to survive, issues of abusive relationships and personal sacrifice, all heady topics swirling within the confines of a short story.Award-winner that it is, though, personally I prefer another story in the collection, The Evening and the Morning and the Night. It's a story of a society where a drug created to cure ailments such as cancer has after-effects, with the descendants of those who took the drug affected by a condition which can cause them to "drift", losing touch with the society around them and slipping into dangerous psychosis. Told from the perspective of the children affected by this disorder, as they face a future which seems inevitably to slip towards madness and death, it's a deeply poignant tale of how society deals with those it cannot cope with, and what happens to those individuals themselves - whether they can carve out their own future in a world that offers them none. These two stories stand out above the others, but there's still plenty of great reading to be had in the collection. There's no binding theme - though a recurring focus is on issues of biology and illness. One nice feature is that each story has notes after it with the author detailing her thoughts on the tale. For example, she addresses the fact that many think Bloodchild is about slavery - it isn't, though talk in the story of selling people hints that way. It's more complex than that, though, and very much worth discovering if, like me, you've been lagging behind on exploring Butler's work.

My daughter is five-and-a-half years old and LOVES all things girly. Some of her favorite books are Fancy Nancy and Pinkalicious so when I saw this new book, I ordered it for her. Unicorns also seem to be very "in" nowadays so I figured this book would be a perfect addition to our home library!"Fancy Nancy and the Quest for the Unicorn" is a cute, new picture book that showcases Nancy's imaginative disposition. Nancy and her best friend Bree love unicorns and Nancy's dad hides a unicorn so they can go on a quest and find it. As always, the story is cute, fun, and contains vocabulary words that help kids learn new words. This paperback book is about 24 pages long with glossy, colorful pages and a page of stickers. My daughter loves this story and has asked for me to read it to her several times already. Even my son enjoys listening to it. If you have a Fancy Nancy fan in your house, I definitely recommend adding this to your collection!

Book make a point to say unicorns aren’t real so if you aren’t ready for your kids childhood to be over, skip that page or buy a different book.

My girls love this book and make me read it to them all the time.and 1 of the books my oldest uses while learning to read. 1 of her faves to use for school reading log.Little harder than some but not bad. And good for her to read some books that are on a higher reading level time 2 time. This is the perfect 1 for any parent that teaches child 1st grade stuff with her kindergarten studies

We enjoy the Fancy Nancy books with our kids but this one is disappointing. The story is choppy in general, and Nancy and Bree’s “lesson” of being inclusive to their younger siblings is plotted poorly, emphasizing the undesirable behavior. The book credits imply its not written/illustrated by the original duo and it shows.

My 5 year old loves Fancy Nancy and unicorns so this book was absolutely perfect! It arrived quickly and in great condition, plus the price was better than most places. What I love most about Fancy Nancy books is that it teaches kids to expand their vocabulary with "fancy" words and the books do a great job at making the definitions easy to understand.

Cute book. My granddaughter loves all of the Fancy Nancy books. A good way to get her into reading.

This book is really nothing like the ones actually written by the author. A poor substitute compared to the rest we own. Note that the cover says inspired by author and not written by.

Not a great story, but we love Fancy Nancy

Was brief but informative. The only thing I don't appreciate is that as eBook it needed to have an index.

This book shows you the proven steps on how to build your own apps for mobile devices. It teaches you the basic of designing, programming and developing the applications. Both android (using Eclipse) and iOS (using Xcode) mobile platforms are covered. Cost analysis and user interface guidelines are discussed in great details. This is a well-written starter guide for the aspiring appreneurs. Recommended!

Excellent book with clear explanations. It is a must for developers and others. He goes straight to the point. I recommend this book.

This is a collection of information that doesn't help someone trying to actually create an app. It is targeted more towards the technical understanding of the concepts behind app technology.

    good

It's a good introduction to App making.
