This book should be studied in school around age 9-11! Relationships cause a huge pain in our lives and no one taught us any of that stuff!The author’s ideas are a bit ideal nowadays with everyone running for quick fix and rushing into physical, so I’m not sure it would work especially with on line dating for busy people over 40!But I did learn a lot about the dynamics between a man and a woman.Being a strong powerful woman I tend to chase the man out of control and big ego, so end up looking desperate and him running away! This book helped me learn how to act more feminine in the right way..Not that I haven’t read the same ideas over and over in other books and programs, but Dr.Gray put it out in a simple clear concrete way.. good especially for someone who is concrete like me!I gave 4 stars only because I felt there was a lot of repetition over and over again, trying to make more pages I thought..I do recommend this book to everyone before even starting to date, it helps anyone in relationship or married, but probably you can use his other books, and will definitely give it to my kids to read!

I've always admired John Gray and believed that men and women truly are from different planets. My husband and I don't communicate well, about much of anything. We hit a crossroads in our marriage and I knew we had to do something or there wouldn't be another anniversary to celebrate. So I bought Mars and Venus in the Bedroom. OMG! Dr. Gray might has written this book for my husband and I! The stories, the suggestions, the ideas.....all hit home. AND it's working. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone that needs a little pick-me-up in their marriage, something to get you started. I was ready to give up and get out, but this book made both of us realize that we CAN learn to communicate, we can grow closer and we can enjoy all the intimacy that we once had. Thank you Dr. Gray!

Thank you, again, John Gray, for teaching me so kindly what makes me different and unique and perfectly normal! This guidebook for navigating the dating experience is a must-have in my opinion. In it, John Gray lays out the five stages of a relationship's natural progression [to marriage], what each stage looks like, how to show up in each of those stages whether you're a man or a woman, and how you and the relationship evolve through the stages. It has proven incredibly accurate for me and my own experiences and I'm already going through it for the second time.

I only wish I’d read this book a long time ago. It would’ve saved me from making many mistakes. I wish more people would read books like this because dating would be so much easier for everyone if we all had this knowledge. I’ve read 3 of John’s books and this one was my favorite. I’m grateful for the new standards this book has helped me create for dating.

We had lost connection in our marriage. Sex became something that was routine and did not increase our dedication to each other. This book helped me better understand the difference between how men and women express and feel love. It is not a "how to" book on sex. It is a study of a connection that can easily be lost in a marriage. I will definitely read this more than once and will hold on to it in case a space comes between us again in the future.

John Gray is awesome. This book is helpful at whatever stage of dating you're in. Gray says that you cannot make someone love you more, but you can create a situation where it's possible to discover the love that could be there or is there. A lot of this knowledge just makes things smoother, and makes some things that could be turned into misunderstandings less unnecessarily painful and damaging to an emerging relationship.

LOL No, really, it was helpful to know what he was thinking during that time when it is hard to ask a man what he is thinking, as you are getting to know him. I highly recommend this book to help someone make it though the dating process.

Excellent information. I found some of it a little repetitive, but Dr. Gray really does do an amazing job of explaining how men and women are so different. I think this is really good information for anyone who has ever just been totally perplexed by why a date they thought went great never amounted to anything :) The different stages really made sense to me. And I understood why skipping through some is not productive to a longterm relationship in the end. Great information for single AND married people.

I bought this book to read to my daughter's class on St. Patrick's Day. It arrived the day before and I excitedly read through it, but it fell short of my expectations. It had cute and vivid illustrations and included stickers but it didn't seem like a complete storyline, they didn't even use all the Toodles tools! I didn't feel like trying to explain why to a room full of curious 4 year olds so I stuck with a classic and read them Dr. Seuss' Put Me in the Zoo and my daughter brought her coordinating spotted stuffed animal to show and we handed out animal crackers, it was a hit!

This is a cute book and my daughter loved the stickers, but the pages keep falling out. I don't know if I just got a lemon but I thought it was worth mentioning.

My children loved this story! It's the perfect book to add to your St. Patrick's Day library. The story keeps you drawn in and reading for more! The illistrations are very colorful and Intriguing.

Not always easy to find books that fit some of the "minor holidays" so we were happy to read Top o' the Clubhouse on my Kindle. The story isn't too long so it's perfect for bedtime. Basic plot is about Mickey and his friends solving problems with the help of Toodles and a St Patricks day theme. They save the day once again! Happy we downloaded this book and recommend it for your little ones.

My son loves these books, although they are pretty short. They give the first one free.... just like crack or something. A bit on the expensive side.

I found St Patricks Day books were hard to find. I loved how Disney had one. While my 10 month old doesn't understand it at them moment I love having it for future years. For paperbook book the pages are a decent thickness and held up to my little guy 'helping' me turn the pages.

I bought this for my son to give to him on Saint Patrick's Day. This was also another great Disney storyline.

This story is adorable, comes with matching stickers. My toddler and preschooler love it. We read it every day. Highly recommend!

I bought this book for my daughter but read it myself first. We both looooove it. Well written Renaee. Very reminiscent of our days in Jamaica on our various track teams. This book is great as a gift to any child...not just one who is inclined to sports...as it shows how hard work..a great support system and never giving up can reap success and great rewards. I loved the great compost heap as well. Great job.

Freddie's First Race by Renaee Smith is a great story to instill confidence is anyone pursuing something they love. Freddie wanted to race but just deciding to do something is only the first part. He needed the confidence that he could win, he also needed the right equipment, practice and training, and bravery against the competition. He also had the love of his family to be proud of him. The colorful images are fantastic and help bring the fun story to life. What a great job!

Our children love Freddie and are inspired by his first race. I hadn't even completed the transaction of purchasing the book from the author yet when my son sat down to read it from cover to cover. He could relate to the beautiful images and the story. The author threw in one for the historical records with facts about Jamaican runner Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world. I owned 'Juicing for Life' long before buying this book. I liked that one, so I bought the smoothie book when it came out. As a believer in the power of juice consumption, I found this book to be an excellent reader also. This is more than another 'fun' smoothie book for those looking for entertainment. It's broken down by chapters into "Energizers", "Power Makers", "Calorie Burners", "Immunizers", etc., in its 11 chapters of recipes. Specific ingredients for specific goals. The explanations of ingredients needs are excellent, as they were in her juicing book.One caveat: don't expect all the recipes in this book to be low-cal, as they aren't. Tahini and peanut butter are two common ingredients. That may or may not be important to the reader.Another caveat: depending on where the reader lives, some of the ingredients may be difficult or impossible to buy in smaller areas. There are a lot of different categories in this book from energizing smoothies, weight loss, how to build the immune system, memory enhancing smoothies, etc. So far I have no regrets on buying this book. What I like about it most is that it has an entire section of what different ingredients do for you so you can modify the smoothies to enhance whatever you want really. Maybe you want a smoothy that will kick your butt into gear before you go to work or maybe you want a smoothy that distresses you when you get home from work, there is also an entire section in this book on smoothies that distresses you. Really no matter what you want the smoothy to do for you or your body it gives you the information on how to make them.

The usual sturdiness of board book pages will stand up well to the roughest "readers".20 pages of trucks, highlighting some aspect of their functions, with graphics that cover every inch of every page and rhyming text. From a fire engine zooming by to a (nameless) truck that cuts down trees, Trucks contains vehicles most children will see every day and some they may never see in real life at all.Into a world full of cutesie little books, Trucks brings a touch of testosterone. Whether that's a good or bad thing is up to you. It was strange that almost every vehicle was identified by a name (backhoe, cherry picker, school bus), but the "truck that cuts down trees" wasn't. Author Mallory Loehr made up for that by rhyming it with her environmentally friendly "Not too many, if you please!" Illustrator Harry McNaught did a nice job with the details, including a bottle of glass cleaner on top of the gas station's gas pump, a plaid shirt draped over the door of the cherry picker and cute little baby shoes hanging from the trucker's rearview mirror. I started writing my review thinking "4 stars" and, by the time I got to this sentence, that had already changed to 5; the more I look, the more I like.- AnnaLovesBooks

This book is a must have. The illustrations are wonderful - there's lots to find. There's at least one dog and one cat on almost every page, which my son (almost two yrs old) loves looking for. The farm page is a favorite because I tell him to find the bluejay and the chickadee. He usually jibber jabbers away as he looks at each page. It's a perfect distraction while I'm changing his diaper.

This little book is a winner. My one year old son, after one reading, loves to study the pictures. The chunky shaped pages are durable and perfect for countless page-turning. The rhyming is outstanding,..it is fluently well-written.

My son loved this book!! It is cute with everything boys love, trucks, tractors and buses.
