A great book to have in a farmer to home Gardners library. He explains his thoughts and ideas in a way that you only need basic knowledge to understand.

I really was hoping that this book had more information on cover crops and using them to rebuild soil. It has some great concepts in it, such as the biological nature of soils and information on trace elements. Overall a good read for anyone who wants to make their soils more productive.

Great book for a farmer. Detailed information and reccommendations on how to balance soil conditions. Eye opener in how important soil balance is for preventing ordinary pest problems.
